Born in Brynmawr, Wales, Jones developed his rugby through local pathways before progressing into the professional system with the Dragons. He built his foundation in Welsh rugby and developed into a skilled fly-half at a young age.
He began his professional career with the Dragons before moving to Worcester Warriors and later continuing his career in France with Angoulême, Carcassonne, and Agen. He gained experience across multiple European competitions and established himself as a reliable playmaker.
He moved to Major League Rugby with NOLA Gold in 2024 and made an immediate impact, helping the team reach the playoffs while contributing as a starting fly-half. He joined the Seattle Seawolves ahead of the 2026 season, bringing experience and control to the backline.
Jones comes from a strong rugby background as the son of former international coach Kingsley Jones. Outside of rugby, he remains closely connected to his family, who continue to support his career.
