Born in London and raised with strong ties to Ireland, McNulty began playing rugby at a young age after being introduced to the sport by his father. He developed through early club systems and went on to represent Ireland at U19 and U20 level.
He built his professional career across multiple Major League Rugby clubs, gaining experience with teams including Rugby New York, New England, LA Giltinis, San Diego Legion, and Miami Sharks. He played a key role in the LA Giltinis’ 2021 championship season and has consistently contributed across the league.
He joined the Seattle Seawolves for a second stint in 2026 after previously playing with the club in 2022. He brings experience from over 70 MLR appearances and has played in multiple championship finals throughout his career.
McNulty has represented the USA Eagles at the international level and comes from a strong rugby family background. Outside of rugby, he works in tech sales, supports Movember, and enjoys traveling.
