
Born in Klerksdorp, South Africa, Redelinghuys began playing rugby at the age of six and developed through local school systems before progressing to North-West University and Life University. He built his foundation through structured South African pathways.
He began his professional career with the Leopards before moving to Western Province and earning experience in Super Rugby. He later transitioned to Major League Rugby, where he continued to develop as a physical and consistent forward.
He joined MLR with Rugby ATL before moving to the Houston SaberCats, where he became a key contributor and helped the team reach a Championship Final. He joined the Seattle Seawolves for the 2026 season, bringing experience and physicality to the forward pack.
Redelinghuys has represented the USA Eagles at the international level and continues to build his career in Major League Rugby. Outside of rugby, he enjoys golf, fishing, and playing guitar.
