
Born in Clearwater Bay, Hong Kong, Walsh started playing rugby at age eight. He moved to New Zealand for high school and attended St. Paul’s Collegiate School, where he developed through a strong rugby program and won a Central North Island First XV title.
He continued his pathway at the University of California, Berkeley. He became a key piece for Cal Rugby and earned 45 starts. He captained the program and led the team to a 2025 national championship.
He was selected by the Seattle Seawolves in the 2025 MLR Collegiate Draft. He joined the squad for the 2026 season and adds depth in the front row.
Walsh comes from a rugby family and has leadership experience at the collegiate level. Off the pitch, he works in sales and creates content for FORE Sports.
